Abducted by aliens from the Canadian backwoods, New Bassmoose can only hear notes at exactly 50hz as a result of genetic experiments carried out by his captors.

Why the inside of the alien spaceship looked exactly like a Mark II Cortina and why their home, Planet Zarg, looked like the car park of Toddington Services, was never fully explained.
